Participants will learn to evaluate the value of effective budget oversight, propose mechanisms for executive accountability and design oversight mechanisms for security institutions. You will also cover the key goals of parliamentary committees and processes, including post-legislative scrutiny, the importance of ethical practices, public participation and inclusion, and oversight of the judicial branch and legal framework, especially in times of crisis.
